The Challenge

Fabulous Micor sells luxurious, handmade skincare products. They only launched in 2019 and they needed a new website to sell their growing range of products. The website needed to have fresh branding, work well on all devices and have a community aspect to help keep visitors engaged.

Built from the ground up, we developed a unique shopping experience using WooCommerce.

Vibrant images and colours are used to reflect the energy behind the brand.

Instructions on how to use the product, what ingredients are used and the key benefits of the product are clearly displayed so the customer can make informed purchasing decisions. Product images are displayed throughout the page in order to keep the visitor engaged.

The home page is used to drive the community aspect of the site as well as encourage purchases.

Customers are encouraged to leave product reviews and comments on their shopping experience. Editors are then able to handpick their favourite reviews and add them to the homepage.

Imagery is peppered throughout the product page to help keep visitors engaged.

Rather than use the traditional method of keeping the product images above the fold, we opted to spread the images throughout the page. Product cutouts, as well as photos of the ingredients and people using the products, were used to increase engagement.

As well as detailed product descriptions we also wanted to include as much important information about the product as possible. 'How to Use, 'Benefits' and 'Ingredients' sections are included in all the product pages.

To make purchasing as simple as possible we created pages allowing customers to filter by skin type.

In all the websites we develop, we try to ensure that user flow and navigating the site is as simple as possible. Creating additional pages that allow the user to filter by their skin condition means that they can find a product to purchase as quickly as possible.
